Janet Haarvig Janet Haarvig has performed with the Chicago Lyric Opera, the Caracas Philharmonic, the Bolshoi Ballet, Tony Bennett and other artists. She received a Masters of Music Degree at State University of New York, Stony Brook, where she studied with Barnard Greenhouse of the Beaux Arts Trio. In Montana she taught orchestra in the Missoula County Public schools and performed with the Cascade Quartet and Montana Orchestras. She has written and recorded cello arrangements for over 10 compact discs and has composed several pieces for the "CD Glacier Journey". She lives in Proctor with her husband Barry and cat, Mr. Bear.
